Led by her desire to begin a career as an artist, Susan Jones moved from Virginia to Atlanta, where she received her Associate in Arts degree from the Art Institute of Atlanta. Upon graduation she remained in Georgia and began working and training with a local art conservator, where she learned the art of oil painting conservation. In 1991 Susan and her husband opened Master Framing and Conservation Studio, offering oil painting and period frame restoration to clients, both locally and nationally, for over 30 years.
